In Central Florida, 'Diamond Brite' is a highly respected, but tricky material and requires some hard- learned experience. You don't want to be anyone's' "guinea pig'" even the best material will fail if it isn't properly applied. We just signed a contract to have our pool marcited. We build and install both. Gunite pools are custom and more personal. They cost more and take longer to install, but we feel the added time is clearly worth it. Building a gunite pool is like building your own house, you get to pick all the details and when it is complete, you will generally feel better about it since you helped design it. Sweep or vacuum floor to remove loose dirt. Squeeze out a puddle (dinner plate size) of Brite® 1-Step Floor Shine Cleaner. Spread over 3'x3' area with a damp mop. Clean area thoroughly with a back and forth motion (loosening and picking up dirt). End with even strokes. Transfer dirt into bucket by rinsing mop clean. Move on to the next area.
