When making a complaint that involves a foodstuff, customers should ensure that the food is stored properly to ensure that there is no contamination or deterioration of the food before being analysed or examined.

Complaints are thoroughly investigated and enforcement action may be taken. If the food involved was produced outside our area we will refer the complaint to the Local Authority where the food was produced. All formal complaints against an Officer of the Indiana University Police Department must be made in person. The Shift Sergeant on duty will meet with you and explain the procedures and instruct you on filling out the necessary forms.
