If a body color is defined, it will override the default setting in most browsers for the background; however, the other default settings will remain unaffected. Therefore, if one were to set the body background color to black, but did not set the text font to white, the text might by default appear as black on a black background, rendering it unreadable. Usually this is because it's the wrong image format. It can happen when IceWM is compiled only with libXpm. With imlib, IceWM is able to read most of the often used image formats like png, gif, jpeg, instead of just xpm images with libXpm.
