With an oiled floor, just take a bit of sandpaper and gently rub away the scratch until it has disappeared. Then apply oil and allow it to sink in. Buff it gently. That's all. A lacquered floor will need to be completely sanded and relacquered as it cannot be done in small patches. Laminate floors are not real wood floors, but plastic printed with an image of wood. Once scratched they cannot be repaired.

Yes it is. We will routinely repair any damage as part of the resurfacing process but if you have small chips or damage on an otherwise good surface we have a solution. We get many calls from people who have dropped tiles, metal plugs or loose objects into the bath and chipped the surface. If this is the case then don't worry, it is easily repaired! We can repair the damage ourselves to a very high standard or provide you with a DIY enamel chip repair kit in the colour of your choice.

A scratch is when a horse is designated as not racing in a race it was entered to run. A trainer can scratch a horse for veterinary reasons, and needs a vet to sign off on the scratch. Sometimes scratches are allowed due to the weather conditions. Scratches can occur if a horse is designated to run "main track only" for a turf race that stays on the turf, or if a race switches to the main track from the turf for a horse that will only run on the turf.

Generally speaking we do not repair printers. Printers have become so nexpensive that they are basically a throw away item (it costs more to repair an old printer than it does to buy a new one). A quick test for yourself, is to run your fingernail across the scratch. If you can feel the scratch with your fingernail, the scratch is too deep to buff out. Even if you buff out rub marks in the glass, the glass may be distorted for clear vision.

Removal of the cylinder head is necessary for repair. This is very labor intensive, with most BMW dealers charging approximately $800 for labor, and around $400 for parts. Why does the picture alternate between light and dark? A DVD encoded with Macrovision will cause a VCR set to record to fail. This is usually visible as a scrambled picture as if the tracking is incorrect, or the picture will alternate between light and dark. Just connecting the video signal from a DVD player to a VCR can activate Macrovision. The only way to bypass Macrovision is to connect the DVD player video cable directly to the TV.

No, you don't have to write all the traits you are going to use from scratch. You should certainly try to use Guttag and Horning's LSL handbook traits ([Guttag-Horning93], Appendix A), which are freely available. Others have also made other handbooks available.
