Most of our safes come with pre-drilled holes which will allow you to easily bolt it to the wall or the floor. HOWEVER, most fire proof safes can not have holes is the safe as that would reduce the fire protection. To bolt these safes in we suggest using a silicon-based glue to glue them to the floor.

The majority of fire safes cannot be bolted to the floor, as holes through the bottom or wall would breach the fire resisting barrier. Some Phoenix fire safes have specially designed and patented base fixing trays to overcome this problem.

Wall tiles (because they are not intended to be load bearing) are typically thinner, lighter and softer than floor tiles. Wall tile glazes are not designed to handle the abrasive forces from foot traffic. Increasingly, floor tiles are being applied to walls and this is no problem so long as the walls are strong enough to support their weight and proper ceramic tile installation methods are used. However, it is not usual to recommend using wall tiles in floor applications.

No. The base of the mast has a floor plate that can be bolted to the floor if desired. However, this is not necessary.
