What is a thermostatic mixing valve?

HRH FAQ's
A TMV is used to control the temperature of the hot water supply to the manifold. It is necessary when the design temperature is significantly lower than the supply water temperature from the heat source. The TMV installs in the plumbing supply and return lines between the manifold and the heat source. It blends return loop water from the manifold and supply water from the heat source to a manually set temperature.

Q Is the Allegra Valve thermostatic?

Frequently Asked Questions
A No its a manual valve but the 'Traditional' valve found on our valve page, is thermostatic and comes in a range of brass, chrome, and nickel. We are currently manufacturing a further range of traditional style thermostatic valves, and will be adding these to our range in September 07.

I have a thermostatic valve. What should I do?

Radiator cabinets by Coverscreen UK
Although the vast majority of our customers enclose it, the thermostatic valves should ideally remain outside of the radiator cover if they are to sense the temperature of the room correctly. If you would like to keep the thermostatic valve outside of the radiator cover, the side of the cover that the valve is on will need to fit between the radiator and the valve. When fitting, a small cut will need to be made in the cover to receive the pipe between the radiator and the valve.

What is a thermostatic radiator valve?

FAQs - About our Designer radiators and towel warmers
A thermostatic radiator valve (TRV) is shown in the image to the right. You will find it on the pipework at the top or bottom of your radiator. It gives you greater control over the heat from each individual radiator. Each TRV can be set to a temperature to suit you, so you can have different temperatures in different rooms.

When mixing is done, what then ?

Audio Post FAQ's
After the mix is completed and approved, films generally require a last step called Printmastering, that combines the various stems into a final composite soundtrack. When this is completed, an optical or digital sound track can be created for a feature film release print. It is also usual at this time to run an 'M & E' (which stands for Music and Effects) track. This is essentially the film's soundtrack with the English language dialogue removed.

What is the difference between a TRV (Thermostatic Radiator Valve) and a manual one?

FAQs & Helpful Information Content
The TRV controls the radiators temperature by sensing the room air temperature and automatically opening and closing the flow to the radiator to maintain a preset temperature. A manual valve controls the temperature of the radiator regardless of how warm the room already is. On large radiators (above 1800 watts, or where the radiator is oversized for the room) we recommend TRV because they save you having to get up to turn the radiator up and down, but they are not essential.

What is the benefit of fitting a thermostatic radiator valve to the radiator?

PURMO | People | Service and support | FAQ
The fitting of a thermostatic radiator valve (TRV) to a radiator gives room temperature comfort control and can help to avoid overheating if a radiator is too large for the room. This piece of equipment provides an extra fine tuning control to central heating, by allowing individual room temperatures to be maintained by sensing room temperature and automatically adjusting the flow of hot water into the radiator.

Q - What is the difference between thermostatic and manual valves?

Regal Radiators FAQ's, Cast Iron Radiators, Heated towel rai...
A - Thermostatic valves control the radiator temperature via a sensor which senses the air temperature in the room. Once the preset temperature has been reached the valve automatically opens and closes the flow of hot water to the radiator to maintain that temperature. A manual valve does not control the temperature of the radiator regardless of how warm the room is already. If the room gets too hot, you can turn it off easily. A - They are both measurements of heat output.

Q.) What are the dangers of mixing other drugs while using crack?

Crack addiction FAQ. Crack addiction treatment.
A.) When people mix crack and alcohol consumption, they are compounding the danger each drug poses, and unknowingly forming a complex chemical experiment within their bodies. NIDA-funded researchers have found that the human liver combines crack and alcohol to manufacture a third substance called cocaethylene that intensifies crack's euphoric effects, while possibly increasing the risk of sudden death.

There may be a difference between the way a value is written and the way it's spoken. For example, someone's height is usually given in meters or centimeters - 1.76 m or 176 cm - but it's sometimes spoken as "one meter seventy-six," even though it's not written that way.

Q: What is the AEM Bypass Valve?

Import Horizon Your Source For Import Performance Parts and ...
A: AEM's patented air bypass valve virtually eliminates the chance of hydro-lock in the unlikely event the filter of your AEM Cold Air induction system becomes submerged in water. The valve installs along the upper portion of the inlet pipe and shuts down induction at the filter when it becomes submerged, rerouting air through its external diaphragm to keep water out and air flowing in.

Do you do any mixing?

Phoenix Wedding DJ Billy James - Questions to Ask Phoenix We...
Beat mixing is a skill typically associated with club DJ's. Songs with similar beats per minute (BPM) are blended together to keep dancers on the floor and sustain the energy of the party. Although beat mixing is less important to the wedding DJ, it is a skill that will enhance the energy of your reception. If your DJ has no beat mixing skill, there will be dead air or awkward transitions between songs and dancers will be much more likely to leave the floor.

How should I set my thermostatic radiator valves?

FAQs - About our Designer radiators and towel warmers
It's best to set your TRV to a middle setting and see if the room is warm enough. If the room is too warm, turn the TRV down by 1, if the room is too cold, turn the TRV up by 1. A middle setting corresponds to approximately 20ºC (68F). Do NOT turn the TRV fully ON or fully OFF to make the room you are in warmer or cooler - this will waste fuel. Turn it a little way and let it do the work.
