School districts and the Department of Education contact FCRR via mail, phone or electronic mail to request a review. When a review is requested, FCRR will need to record the requestor's name, number, e-mail, and district and elicit as much information about the reading program as possible from the requestor.

It varies. Sometimes I review items that already exist in my own personal collection. Sometimes a friend loans me a product that she wants me to review. Sometimes the publisher of the item sends me a review copy.

We try to review all new music we come across. But due to time and music availability, reviews tend to come in waves.

Absolutely. I even have a thread for these suggestions on my Message Board. However, that doesn't necessarily mean I'll get around to playing it and reviewing it right away; I simply have to be in the mood for it, and have the time for it. But suggestions will push those game titles higher up on my "to play" list. We have a general rule not to reveal any details after the first third of a novel, unless the information is absolutely essential to evaluating the book. We do believe that we should describe the basic premise of the plot. Readers want to know what the story is about so that they can decide whether or not this is a book they want to read. We try to do critical/analytic reviews which are much longer than those available at most other review sites.

ARTBOMB is not a typical review site. We only list books that we think are the best the industry has to offer in a wide range of genres. Books are selected solely on their merits as determined by our review staff. That said, there are literally dozens of great books we haven't gotten around to. This is primarily because we want to be able to roll in fresh content on a regular basis. And we can also be very lazy.

Most movies I review are ones that I have owned on videotape or laser disc in the past. Some movies I review if I see conflicting reviews on other sites.

The review of exam scripts will be done by the departments. The review would only involve checking to ensure that there were no mistakes in the marking (eg. Questions not marked) or in the adding up of the marks. If "Yes", the department concerned would arrange for the date/time/venue for the viewing of the script and students would be notified accordingly. If the student does not appear for the viewing at the appointed date/time, the case is considered closed.

Try posting a message in one of the discussion forums - someone might have already read the book and be willing to write a review, or at least give a quick opinion about it.
