Please do NOT use "Premix" type oil in oil-injected motors! Premix oil tends to deteriorate the rubber components in an oil injector system causing them to leak. There are a number of different brands of 2-stroke oil on the market, and some of them can be used either as "Premix" oil or "Injector" oil. Just make sure that the oil you use is suitable for use in Oil Injected Motors.

C-12, C-14, and VP Red work very well with synthetic or petroleum based oils. However, bean oils will tend to separate below 35 degrees F. in fuels with a specific gravity of less than .730.

Since these engines have no sump to hold oil for engine lubrication, like nitro, the oil comes from the fuel. Traditionally, a vegetable oil, palmolein oil, has been used to manufacture most of our products. Palmolein is a vegetable oil extracted from the fruit of the palm tree. Recently, we have started to use high oleic sunflower oil for some of our products. High oleic sunflower oil is a special type of sunflower oil that has been designed for frying foods. It is lower in saturated fat than palmolein oil and high in monounsaturated fat.
