For the Graduate Student Roundtables, and most other conference panels, business casual is certainly appropriate. You are welcome and encouraged to participate in the conference from beginning to end, but this is not required.

Recommended dress is business casual to business dress. You might want to bring a light jacket or sweater as room temperatures may vary. We have found in the past years of this event most attendees wear sport coats for the day and suits for the evening dinners.

The Pre-Conference Workshops offered on Monday, March 20, 2006 and Tuesday, March 21, 2006 are designed to give in-depth training on specific topics. These training sessions are usually 6 hours in length. An additional registration fee applies to the Pre-Conference Workshops. The General Sessions of Wednesday, March 22, 2006 through Saturday, March 25, 2006 are 60 minutes and 30 minutes in length.

It is best to wear slacks, khakis, button-down shirts, sweaters, or casual, longer skirts. You should take comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting dirty. Avoid tight-fitting or revealing clothes and excessive jewelry. Athletic-style apparel is less commonly worn in Nepal, so stay away from wearing shorts, tennis shoes, and ski jackets if you want to try and blend in. You will probably not want to draw any unnecessary attention to yourself.

the Monastery and on retreat, we wear modest comfortable clothing. We request that tight-fitting clothing, tank tops or sleeveless tops, leggings, midriff tops, etc. are not worn while on retreat. The atmosphere we are creating on retreat is one of little distraction. Only ankle length pants or skirts are worn in the meditation hall. On some retreats it will be specified to bring work clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, or yoga clothes for somatics and yoga.

For conference sessions, we recommend you dress comfortably. Temperature in each of the rooms can vary, so a sweater is recommended.

The conference schedule will be available in early 2008 and will be posted on the website at that time. No, except for the Wednesday workshops, it is not necessary to register for any specific session. Each session will be placed in a room that should accommodate the interest in the topic. If you are interested in more than one session in a given time slot, keep in mind that your Conference Proceedings will include handouts from most of the sessions in the general conference.

Just about anything you like. There will be people dressed in their best aloha wear and there will be people wearing boardshorts and tshirts. It really is best just to wear whatever you are comfortable in. Note: Formal attire may be a bit much, not to mention really hot. Student teachers should always strive to make a positive impression on colleagues, administrators, students, and parents. Most schools have guidelines for teacher attire so cooperating teachers should be consulted for this information. In general, student teachers should choose attire that presents them as professionals. Clothes that appear sloppy, overly casual, or inappropriate can distract students and result in negative attitudes.

You should be dressed in comfortable, casual and cool clothing. Tennis shoes, sneakers and other rubber-soled shoes are also recommended; sandals or any open-toe shoes and shorts are not permitted. Helmets will be provided; however, if you prefer, you may bring your own open-faced helmet. We recommend against wearing Nomex driving suits due to the summer temperatures and the amount of time you will be spending outdoors. And remember to bring your sunglasses and sunscreen!

We suggest attire that is appropriate for a casual evening out to a nice dinner. Jackets and ties are not required.

Texas has a wide range of temperature variability during the winter months. Beginning in November and into March be prepared for cold weather particularly during the evenings, nights and early mornings. Warm clothes and thermals are essential. A medium insulated or down jacket is appropriate. Include warm socks, gloves and a scarf. Otherwise regular camouflage hunting clothes, hiking boots with ankle support and a hat.

Plan to dress in business professional attire for most of the LDP. Business casual dress will be allowed occasionally during the Program.

It is recommended that you bring clothing appropriate for the season. Sturdy shoes or boots and leather gloves are recommended. The winter requires warm clothing, warm boots, hats and gloves. Skirts/dresses are not suitable at the Air Base.

For both the evening social events - Sunday Cocktail Reception and Monday Gala Event - business casual with a jacket for men and, afternoon or cocktail attire for women. Since meeting room temperatures vary, we recommend you bring a sweater or jacket to the sessions.
