More than 3 90° bends will disrupt airflow. We also do not recommend any horizontal lengths (no matter how short) or downward dips of the pipe. Fasten your pipe to the structure with the supplied brackets to prevent settling.

If you are just doing occasional pipe work, than a bending spring is fine. They fit 15mm pipes, and 22mm pipes (SCREWFIX numbers13929, and 12076). Grease them first, and if it is a long run, you will need to attach a piece of strong, thick wire to the "eye" end to pull it out. Push into the pipe so that the centre of the spring is where you want the centre of the bend to be. Get an old towel, put it between your bent knee and the pipe, and bend towards you, until you get the dersired 90 degrees.

Kilns have been operated for years without the newer ventilation systems. Without a vent typically the kiln is vented by propping the lid during the first part of the cycle when the ware gives off fumes. First of all I try to use a breathable Fabric, if this is not enough there are 4 or 6 Screens sewn into the cover in the vertical reeling area where the covering fabric can be removed , if this is still not enough I can send you some vinyl cowl vents which can be applied on the cover in higher areas afterwards.
