CowParade opens its events to all artists and craftsmen in the host city and region. Painters, mixed-media artists, sculptures, craftsmen, architects, and a variety of other creative individuals have all participated. While the cow sculptures remain the same, each city's artists are challenged by the creations from past events, inspired by the cultural influences and history of their city, and moved by their own interpretation of the cow as an object of art, making each event unique.

Property owners must submit a valid petition (51percent of abutting property owners represented on petition) for reconstruction. Petition forms are provided by Metropolitan Finance and Petitions by calling 410-887-3363.

Many neighborhoods have decided that they would like to have a paved alley. The City does not pay for these improvements. However, the City will provide for an assessment project to get the work done. If a neighborhood is interested in paving their alley, someone in the neighborhood must circulate a petition (pick it up at the City Engineering Office) to adjacent landowners to find out who is interested in paying for the improvements.

George Washington McCaskill built the mill in 1894. The small village around the mill was named for an early settler, John Alley, but he didn't own the mill. The mill was never very successful as a business and went through about a dozen owners, so many folks can claim family connections to this beautiful landmark. Alley History

FolkAlley.com is a listener supported 24-hour, online music service featuring folk, traditional, Americana, Celtic, singer/songwriter, world, and acoustic music. It was launched in September 2003 and is produced by WKSU-FM in Kent, Ohio. The Shop, or "Diagon Alley", is used to sell Wizard Trading Cards. These cards were made by various staff members and can be collected throughout your 'years' here at Hogwarts. We hope to eventually add more shops, but at this time it is not possible with the software available to us.

Usually a BMC stays around the house and its family. But a BMC left alone, or not exercised enough, could become an escape artist. If they are motivated, a BMC can go over, under or chew through a fence. Some BMCs are smart enough to learn how to open doors and latches. More and more people are putting in underground fencing that uses a collar to confine their dog. The only concern about underground fencing is it doesn't keep stray dogs or animals from bothering the confined dog.

Copyright gives the creator or author of a work the power to control the work. The owner of the copyright has the exclusive right to control if, when, how and how often his or her work can be used or copied. Copyright is not a single right, as the word may suggest, but is a bundle of rights. Any part of the bundle can be retained or sold, leased or given away, either individually or in groups.

Artists are ranked based on the number of "Unique" plays and visitors they receive over a 24 hour period. For example, the rankings shown today are from yesterday's activity only (previous rankings for each artists do not affect their rank today). What we mean by "Unique" plays and visits is: when someone visits an artist's page, it is only counted ONCE per day. When someone plays a song, it is only counted once per day also.

Promo Ad Spots are listings of artists shown on various high traffic pages on the website. These spots can be purchased by any artists at almost any time. The way this works is pretty simple: Only 10 artists are shown in promo locations on each page view. What this means is that artists are rotated on each page view to give an equal number of views each. As an example, if all 50 spots are filled, every artist is shown on 1 out of each 5 page views.
