LimeWire does not have built-in CD burning capabilities, however other programs do, and your operating system may have CD-burning capabilities. If you would like to burn CDs, you would need to obtain a program that burns CDs or locate that feature of your operating system. You will also need to know the location that your files are downloaded to in order to use them.

CDEveryWhere does not record CD audio tracks. It will record audio files from your computer onto the CD as a file. For example, you can record a WAV or MP3 file to a CD that can be read by other platforms. You cannot record a WAV file to the CD that can be played by a CD player. CDEveryWhere only creates data CDs. You cannot add an audio track to the end of the ISO image file using CDEveryWhere.

You can burn maximum 100 songs on a CD. But normally, only about 13 to 20 songs can be burned because of the capability of the 74 minutes normal CD. The normal CD doesn't compress the audio data like MP3 format. Actually, the MP3 files will be decompressed before being written to CD-R or CD-RW disc. So, you can only burn 74 minutes of audio (about 60M MP3 files) in one CD.

Before ripping CDs to audio files, you can configure the output audio files' settings including CBR, VBR, Maximum Bitrate, Minimum Bitrate, Quality, Channels, Output Folder. You may enter the options dialog from "Tools > Options ..."

I'd use a WAV editor. There is a Winamp plugin called Audiostocker which is designed to "normalize" playback volume, but I don't know whether it can be used at the same time as the Disk Writer plugin. Alternatively you could try and use a program that goes directly from MP3 files to burning an audio CD and had normalization functions built in. MP3 CD Maker does, but I could never get that program to work at all, and the help is useless (essentially non-existant).

Using the "disk at once" option which is available in most good burner programs will get rid of the major gaps between tracks. I would recommend *always* using this option when burning audio CDs, since CDs burned this way will play better in audio CD players (which can find the tracks better - with "track at once" disks an audio player will often not be able to locate individual tracks upon request).

You can burn files onto a CD for storage off your computer, however, you will need to use the software which came with your CD Burner or a separate piece of software, not Kazaa Media Desktop. Kazaa Media Desktop is not designed for this purpose.

FLAC encodes are superior in sound quality to mp3 and AAC. The audio is compressed without any loss in quality (similar to how zip works but with better compression for audio files). This makes FLAC's the highest possible quality for digital downloads. The file sizes are however on average roughly four times the size of the mp3/AAC versions.
