Above ground swimming pools with a capacity of less than 5,000 gallons would not require a permit. This would include most pools less than 16 feet in diameter. (You will need to check with Planning and Zoning if a certificate is required.)

We are pleased to introduce our new AGDI-02 deck inserts for wooden decks. This new deck insert will enable you to use either the stainless steel volleyball sets or the aluminum volleyball sets with your pool. The AGDI-02 is made of aluminum so that it will never rust. After your new deck insert is installed, you will simply drop the pole into the receiver and string your net across the pool. Caps are not available with the AGDI-02.

If there are no gas or solar heaters installed, an above-ground pool will typically need no more than 1 hp (3/4 hp can easily be used with less than 10,000 gallons of pool water.) An In-ground pool without spa or heater up to 25,000 gallons can easily be run with 1 hp. Depending on filter size, 1 1/2 hp is very standard.

The Town's Pool Enclosure By-Law requires the installation of fences around a swimming pool. For example, if you plan to travel from Echo Lake to Castle Crags State Park, you would need to contact the Eldorado National Forest since your trip would begin in that forest. They would issue a permit good for your entire trip. The PCTA can issue a wilderness permit for trips of 500 miles or more along the PCT.

All swimming pools need a permit to be constructed. Most towns this will require seeing at least 4 departments-Health Dept, Conservation Department, Zoning Department and Building Department. We understand that this would be an inconvenience for our customers, so we will handle the permit process for you. Since we build pools in many towns we have established relationships with town inspectors and office personnel.

Two to three feet is ideal.. Any more than that and you run a bigger risk of the pool caving in. You always want to make sure the water level is higher than the dirt. If the pool is to far into the ground and the ground around it gets to wet it could easily cave in. It is also a good idea to wait at least two years after the pool is installed before draining it. This give the dirt around it plenty of time to pack. Even then the pool should be drained and refilled in a day or two.

To replace these parts you could start by checking all the local pool stores and see if anyone in your area handles parts for that model. You could check with the manufacturers web site and see if they could be of any help.
