Your score report provides your test results for the test administration date indicated on the report. For each test you took, the report lists your total test score, whether or not you met the qualifying score, and an indication of your performance in each subarea or section of the test. For each subarea or section, the score report indicates the number of test questions (within a general range, e.g., 1-10, 11-20) that are in this section of the test.

In the vast majority of cases the results produce an unequivocal result. The alleged father is either "excluded" or is "not excluded" as the biological father. Each of the 15 identity loci are analyzed separately to calculate a paternity index, and all the individual indexes are combined to calculate a "combined paternity index". All incoming freshmen are required to take an online mathematics placement test, which must be completed on or before June 10, 2007. You will access the survey and/or test at http://www.marist.edu/studentlife/firstyear/orientation.html. Your placement into mathematics courses at Marist College will be based on the results of your online placement test, your math SAT score, your high school GPA, your high school mathematics courses and your choice of major and minor.

If you took college-level English and college-level math at a US college or university, your bachelor's degree should be sufficient to enter the culinary and/or pastry programs without taking a math placement test. If you didn't take a math class, however, you will have to take the math placement test.

Results of the UW-System Math and English Placement Tests are given out on the day of registration only. If you do not take the Placement Test during the spring at a UW college or university near you, then you must take it on one of our residual test dates and then register on a New Student Registration--Pioneer Passage day after the test. You'll be able to register, but not for courses that depend upon results of testing (English and math). The best option is to come to George Brown College and complete your placement test as soon as possible. You can book your test by calling the automated telephone appointment system at (416) 415-2005, or alternatively you can book on STU-VIEW. It can take up to 48 hours for the test results to be updated on STU-VIEW. Check again in a day or so.

Appointments are not necessary to take the placement/assessment tests. Visit the Assessment Testing for Placement website or contact the Information Center for a copy of the testing schedule.

A placement test is given to determine your level of reading, writing, and math. If your placement scores do not meet the level needed to take credit courses, you will be asked to consider a non-credit (PREP) program designed to raise your competency. For more information about the PREP classes, contact one of the following programs: You may take PREP classes and college classes that do not have reading, writing or math prerequisites at the same time.

Scores range from 1-5 with 5 being the highest in the Brainbench scoring system. Within that range, Brainbench recognizes two levels of achievement for standard assessments. A score between 2.75 – 3.99 earns the test taker the standard certification while a score of 4.0 or higher certifies a master level of achievement. The proficiency levels describe in very general terms what typical examinees know and their capabilities in an applied setting.

They consist of 3 exams, 20 questions each. One exam covers the topic algebra, one covers trigonometry, and the third covers calculus. Students are allowed 40 minutes to complete the online placements exams. Calculators are not allowed. Sample exams are posted at http://www.eng.iastate.edu/orientation/placement/

All new students to the College of Engineering at Iowa State University will be required to take the Math Placement Exams.

After determining which Math Placement Exams you will take, complete the practice tests for those areas before taking the actual Math Placement Exams.

All students must take the placement tests unless they have transferred an equivalent English and/or math course from another college or university.

All students who wish to enroll in courses at TCC must participate in the College Assessment Testing Program unless evidence of satisfactory performance in college level courses is presented from another institution or if the student has successfully completed eithert the ACT or SAT instrument within three years of the time you enroll in either a Math or English course at TCC.
