this time, we don't have an artist transfer mechanism. We do plan to implement this feature in the near future though.

First, you must register an AudioStreet.Net profile (account) to host your Artist account in. Artist accounts are "owned" by a profile which allows members to host one or more artists under one account. See the How do I create a profile? question on how to get started. If you are already registered and have activated your account, click on either the "Members → Register an Artist" or "Artists → Register an Artist" menus at the top. This will take you to the signup process for artists.

You will need to complete a Change of Contractor Form authorizing a new contractor to complete the work or requesting to complete the work as an Owner-Builder. If the new contractor will complete the work, he will need to submit a Building Application, a Owner's Affidavit, a Change of Contractor Form and a letter from you the owner stating you paid original permit fees or the previous contractor stating previous permit fee were paid by the owner.

Click on the "Members → My Account" menu at the top to go to your "My Account" page. Using the navigation at the right, click on the "Manage Artists" link to view your artist accounts. Next to the artist you want to remove, click the "Delete" link. Be forewarned that deleting your artist account is permanent. Once its gone, it can only be recovered for a short amount of time afterwards. Be sure that you want to remove this artist account before deleting it.!!

If you wish to transfer ownership of your list to someone else, you must contact the Help Desk. Once ownership has been transferred, the new owner must create a LISTSERV password upon logging into the management area, if he/she doesn't already have one.

The current owner fills out an owner change form and sends it to us per postal mail or fax. The date must be signed by hand, not just printed. The form must be signed by the person specified as the legal contact person (legal-c) of the domain. In case it is not possible to get in touch with the current legal contact person, you must change the contact person before sending in the form. The new owner must fill out an application statement and send it to us per postal mail or fax.

To transfer a domain name, both the current owner and new owner may use the Transfer menu option. This advises the vuNIC Hostmaster that both parties agree to the domain name transfer. The Hostmaster may need to contact both owners if there are any questions about the domain transfer. DO NOT give away your master password as a method of transferring domain names --- this will result in reassigning the ownership of ALL of the domain names registered under that customer handle!

Typically it takes between 48 and 72 hours to review new artists, and in rare cases it can take longer. We get hundreds of new artists per day and sometimes higher volume of new signups will delay approvals. Please be patient though, we will get to everyone. You must first have send-as privileges to the mailbox from which you want to send a message. The Exchange administrator or the owner of the mailbox must grant this privilege. Note: Even though you can click From and select any name from the Global Address Book, you are allowed to send a message only on behalf of someone who has granted you that permission. In the From box, type the name of the person you are sending on behalf of. If you leave the box blank, the message is sent from you.
