Will I have a single, double or triple room?

FAQ
The vast majority of students here are assigned to standard double rooms. We do, however, have a handful of rooms that are over-sized and designed to accommodate three students. The fee for these rooms is slightly less. These rooms are not double rooms that have been converted to triples to accommodate overcrowded conditions. Single rooms are scarce on the Midtown campus and in several of our Westside buildings. See similar questions...

Should I get a single or double?

Frequent Questions - Journal on open sea and coastal kayak p...
Single kayaks provide greater maneuverablity than doubles. Doubles can be faster than singles. Doubles may be able to carry more gear, but keep in mind that they need to carry more than twice as much gear for this to be true. A double will require the use of a rudder to steer. A double on a trip can provide an ill/injured person with a safer place to sit than in a single being towed. Some doubles are more stable than a single but will be more difficult to rescue and pump dry. See similar questions...

What is confirmation bias?

Frequently Asked Questions
Confirmation bias refers to a type of selective thinking whereby one selects out what is familiar to them or what they expect to see, rather than what is actually there. Many errors often occur when practitioners, due to familiarity of certain products, see the one they think it is rather than what it is. It is human nature for people to associate items by certain characteristics. See similar questions...

What is the best way to wash items made with bias tape?

Wrights® Information/Help - Frequently Asked Questions
Most of the colors of our bias tape are colorfast, but whenever using a dark shade on a lighter fabric, it is ALWAYS safest to pre-wash the bias tape, OR set the color by using a mixture of one part vinegar to three parts hot water, plus 1 tsp. of salt. This will help insure that you have the best results possible. If using a "double folded" bias tape, open it up and look for a factory seam. If using a "single fold" bias tape, just turn it over and look for the factory seam. See similar questions...

Guided and Self-Guided Snowmobile Tours
The choice to ride single or double depends on the participant's age and level of confidence operating a snowmobile. Participants under the age of 16 must ride as a passenger. Based on our experience, even novice riders prefer riding single over riding double because it is more comfortable and easier to maneuver the snowmobile. See similar questions...
