The Police Department Records Division, located in the main lobby of the Police Department at 1 N. San Antonio Rd., is open 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays. You may go there to pay a parking fine, or to file paperwork to contest a citation. In order to contest a parking citation, you must pay the associated fine and then request a hearing date.

Payment of parking and/or traffic tickets can be made at 5 Ray Lawson Blvd. OR at City Hall, 2 Wellington St. W.; 1st Floor. However; if you wish to discuss a ticket; call 905-450-4770, or go to the Provincial Offences Office at S Ray Lawson Blvd. The City does recognize Brampton residents celebrating 50th and 60th wedding anniversaries, special birthdays and other significant events with a certificate from the Mayor's Office.

To dispute a ticket you must notify the court administrator of your intention at least 7 days prior to your court date. If you fail to do so, it may be necessary to make two court appearances. If you are a visitor and have no affiliation with the university, and received a citation pertaining to the permit display just fill out the back and return to the office you are visiting or directly to the University Police Department for dismissal.

Thanks for the offer, but no thanks, we pay plenty of legal city fees as it is for park permits, Police Officers for traffic safety, fire permits, you name it, we pay it. Please continue to adhere to existing city laws - even on Celebration Saturday.

Parking tickets and civil ordinance violations can be paid by mail or in person at the police department. If you received a traffic citation (i.e. for speeding or failing to stop for a red light), the fine must be sent within twenty (20) days to the Violations Bureau. You may also request a trail using this method. The instructions are located on your ticket and envelope.
