Bandwidth (or monthly transfer) is a metric measuring the usage level of your website. It is calculated on a monthly basis, in Mega-bytes (Mb). Every time someone downloads a 1 Mb file, it consumes 1 Mb of bandwidth. If you are given 1000 Mb of bandwidth per month, it means a 1 Mb file will be downloaded 1000 times before your quota is exceeded. When calculating bandwidth usage, everything being uploaded, downloaded and emailed is taken into consideration.
