A bibliography is a listing of books, articles and other materials that are related to a topic. Bibliographies are frequently found at the end of encyclopedia articles, at the end of journal articles, and at the end of books. Bibliographies are useful because they lead you to additional materials on your topic. A works cited list is a list of works that have actually have been cited in one’s research paper.

Give the speaker's name, the title of the lecture (if known) in quotation marks, the meeting and the sponsoring organization (if applicable), the location, and the date. When special symbols are placed at the beginning and the end of URL addresses, the reader is certain to know where the starting and ending point of the address are. APA style calls for a list of References instead of a bibliography.
