RIF does not accept donations of used books. Try contacting your local library or community center for ideas on where to donate them.

There are many ways to donate to RIF. You can contact the development staff toll-free at 1-888-725-4801 and make a contribution over the phone. You can also visit our donation page of this website for instructions on giving online, by mail, through workplace giving, or in your will.

No, I am sorry I cannot. Many times, I do not own the book you want or I only have one copy that is used to continue research for this site. I am not a book publisher nor a published author. I do not have access to free books. I purchase the books I use or borrow them from my local library.

The library gratefully accepts donations of books and audio-visual materials. Donations are reviewed by library staff and are either added to the library's collection or offered for sale at the Library Book Sale, generally held in the spring. Proceeds from the book sales are used to support the collections and services of the library. Gifts may be dropped off at any time at the library's Technical Processing Department.

The Amherst League of Women Voters holds an annual book sale at the beginning of May. Their number is 549-7443. Because of limited storage space, not all of our branches accept donations at this time. It is best to call or visit your local branch library beforehand. If you would like to donate a book or other materials in memory of or in honor of a loved one, please visit your local branch library for a "Gifts to the Library" form.

The City of Ann Arbor has a handy page that lists Resale or Donation Centers that lists lots more places where you can donate or buy items that are "used but not used up". SAFE House has a big wish list, which includes toys, for the shelter that they run for victims of domestic violence.

The North Grenville Public Library does accept book donations from the public. Books must be in good condition, paperback and hardcover. We do not accept manuals, text books, computer texts or damaged/moldy materials. The Library reserves the right to add donated books to our collection or to sell them in our ongoing books sales. The Library also reserves the right to discard book donations. Books should be dropped off at the South Gower Branch of the library.

Yes. The library accepts donations of books except for the following: magazines, Reader’s Digest condensed books, textbooks or encyclopedias which are older than 10 years, or books damaged by mold, water, insects, or damaged beyond repair. Every donation we receive is sorted for condition, content and suitability in a global theological context. The large majority of all donations ends are distributed overseas. Inevitably, TBN receives some books that, for any number of reasons, do not fit the needs of schools we serve. Books in this category include novels, art books, devotional literature, “How-to books” and the like. Most of these books are distributed locally to area thrift shops and non-profits.

Many people like to donate their unwanted books to the library. We are grateful for this support, but please note that we can only add items to our stock that are in good condition.
