Willing Webcam may freeze when it is connected to a driver that does not work or when the connected camera stops working (a camcorder or a still digital cam). The program collects all WDM and VFW driver headers on your system and works only with them. Drivers are provided by webcam manufacturers.

In the fall, when water cools, it becomes more dense and sinks to the bottom of the lake. Water is "heaviest" at 39 degrees F. You can only uninstall Zone Alarm 5 and switch to an earlier version (4.5 is known to work) or use a different personal firewall. Another reason is /tmp mounted in textmode.

A security freeze is a mechanism to prevent new account identity theft. Only a security freeze allows the consumer to limit access to his or her consumer reporting file. The federal Fair Credit Reporting Act creates two types of fraud alerts, but the only type available to consumers who have not yet been victims of identity theft, called the initial fraud alert, expires after 90 days unless renewed. The very short time period makes this a poor tool for ID theft prevention.

All Sprinkool ROETM controller programs include a subroutine that provides emergency freeze protection from sudden, unanticipated drops in roof temperatures. The controller activates the system, intermittently, to prevent damage during these conditions. Complete automatic winterization of the system is also available. Some movies, especially those over two hours long or encoded at a high-data rate, are spread across two layers on one side of the disc. When the player changes to the second layer, the video and audio may freeze for a moment. The length of the pause depends on the player and on the layout of the disc. The propane tank is connected directly to the regulator instead of hose. Connect a hose between the regulator and tank, which will allow the cold propane to heat up a little.

Freezing is a problem with handling the memory on your computer. The most likely cause is the version of Java used. Download the latest version of Java at Java.com by pressing the Java Software Download Now button. Click the Verify Installation link to determine if you have the latest version of Java installed. Set the Monitor Colors to 256 from the Control Panel. If you have an Epson printer from around 1998 you may need a printer update. You can workaround the problem by choosing any printer other than Epson starting 3D and then switching back to Epson once 3D is running.

Under some hardware configurations this can happen. It is only known to happen with Rage 128 Pro graphics cards. There appears to be a bug relating to the graphics card drivers that cause any carbon applications using the card to freeze. Since java 1.3.1 is carbon based, it suffers from this problem. Follow the instructions here to disable hardware acceleration. Java 1.4.x does not suffer from this problem (in beta at this time).

Unfortunately, sometimes there are so many people trying to use Webkinz World at the same time that our computers can become overloaded. We try to keep this sort of thing to a minimum and we are always expanding our system to keep up with the number of visitors we have!

Freezing" is an option available in your library record. "Freezing" a hold allows you to keep your place in line while waiting for a book. For example, you know you are going to be out of town next week, but you are number 2 on the holds list. You've been waiting for a particular title for a long time and it looks like the book you've been waiting for will come in while you're away. "Freezing" keeps your place in line until you're ready to unfreeze the hold.

If you find your session freezing after you have hit "SUBMIT", try using the Back button to return to the previous screen and click on SUBMIT again. It may be the case that the session has not really halted; this kind of misbehavior is common to browser-based applications
