It is possible, but we don't recommend it. Polyester is more flexible, stronger, and has a proven history of success with our products. Also, be aware that some fiberglass tape and fabric is asphalt impregnated and will not work well with water-borne products.

You can use fiberglass instead of the provided polyester skin, but we don't recommend it. While fiberglass requires less maintenance, it is actually more fragile than the skin that comes with the kit.
