The web-based front end will allow you to send us the computer files which contain your documents, maps, and drawings. You simply attach your files that are on your computer, and it will be processed electronically for you.

Graphics prepared by separate graphics tools must be submitted as Encapsulated PostScript (eps) files. Many graphics tools have an option to write out eps files; consult the package documentation for instructions. Files should be saved to include the fonts (as outlines whenever possible). AMS staff is not able to support graphics software tools. However, we include here some information that has been effective in solving various problems encountered by authors publishing with the AMS.

The jury has a small amount of time to review a large number of submissions. Electronic submission allows the jury to start the review process almost immediately. It also saves the time and costs involved in shipping submissions to the jury members.

Setting up the submit command. It is relatively easy to setup submit for your course. You need access to the course account to do that. Read man submit in the undergraduate environment and follow the additional documentation from there. While it may sound complicated from all the documentation available, it IS easy if you just ignore all the bells and whistles which you do not need.

Schulman is capable of receiving all documents via Email. Secure Electronic Submission is available for submission of sensitive documents. Schulman acknowledges by email all electronic new protocol and research site submissions. If a signature is required, you must scan the signature page of the document into PDF format before submitting it electronically. If you are unable to scan the signature page of the document into PDF format, you may fax it to the appropriate team at Schulman.

There may be electronic files that are not listed on your schedule that you may want to keep, such as personal correspondence or scholarly publications. These files should be maintained in an organized fashion and should be deleted when they are no longer needed.

Yes, or you can go to the author's home page and leave a nice message. Authors give you the postcard option of contacting them because it is anonymous. There is no way of tracing who it came from if you do not choose to include any personal information. It's a con! The original website has gone and their domain name registration lapsed. You may have noticed some small print on that web page that said the domain name was for sale.
