Will I have a single, double or triple room?

The vast majority of students here are assigned to standard double rooms. We do, however, have a handful of rooms that are over-sized and designed to accommodate three students. The fee for these rooms is slightly less. These rooms are not double rooms that have been converted to triples to accommodate overcrowded conditions. Single rooms are scarce on the Midtown campus and in several of our Westside buildings.

A double has one large bed (usually a queen size), big enough for two or for one person who likes a lot of room. Thus, when mentioned in the price info, "Double Room Single Occupancy" it implies a normal double room (with a large bed), but only authorised to accomodate one person. We do our best in trying to avoid triple rooms, however, triple rooms are created when student demand exceeds the number of available rooms. A triple room means a third person will be assigned to a room intended for two people. Students are assigned to triples based on their application date.
