It is not possible for us to predict exactly how long you will be at the Consular Section. We interview applicants as efficiently as possible consistent with reasoned, legally supportable decisions; however, you should be patient as some applicants may be at our office until/after 4:15 p.m. We make every attempt to interview elderly applicants, applicants with infants, disabled applicants and other applicants with special needs early in the day.
