Dependents can be added or deleted from your group health plan during the open enrollment period. However, if certain qualifying events occur, you can add or delete dependents outside of the open enrollment period. Qualifying events include (but are not limited to): birth, child loses coverage from other parent, adoption, marriage, death, or divorce.
