So many places today give you a low upfront price, but when you go to pay the bill you find its a lot more than you had anticipated and they try and nickel and dime you for everything. We don't like being treated like that and don't do it to our guests. There are no hidden costs with us. In addition to our wonderful breakfasts (most guests don't eat lunch because the breakfasts are so substantial).

Breakfast is often included in a European or Latin stay. Be prepared for a local breakfast in Western Europe -- light, like croissant and coffee. You'll probably find some kind of food prep or storage area and some, like the huge Wake Up London, have a full, equipped kitchen, while some have a weaksauce arrangement like a hot plate. Read reviews if you're counting on breakfast-included as a money saver, 'cuz it might not be there.

A Bed and Breakfast usually has 2-4 rooms and is usually run by the owners. Often innkeepers have escaped from the "working" world to seek the peace and quiet of a rural setting while still enjoying some income. What you get at 7 Acres B & B is a level of personal service and comfort that is generally not available at hotels (unless you go to the kind that charge hundreds of dollars per night). Our gracious hospitality and pampering will make you want to come back again and again.

This varies from a continental breakfast which is just toast and tea/coffee, through to eggs & bacon (full English Breakfast). Some B&B's and hotels have a small charge for breakfast. Best to check on the information for each individual hotel.

We are not able to accommodate a full breakfast in bed. We can provide warm bread, fruit and coffee at an agreed upon time between 8 and 9 a.m. There is a $20 charge for this service. We can set up a table in a private dining room for guests who would like to be totally alone.

It is possible to have breakfast delivered to your door in a basket. Upon check in you will be given a menu from which you can select breakfast items and indicate whether you would prefer to have breakfast in our parlor, in your room or on the front porch (weather permitting). Many couples choose to spend their wedding night at the Astor House and we love to be a part of the start of a new marriage.

For our package tours that include accommodation, we choose the best hotels in that destination. For our package tours, hotels are pre-booked and cannot be changed. On a private tour, the choice is yours.
