The Adopt-A-Family program has proven to be life changing for everyone who participates - the givers and receivers. Generous members of our community "adopt" qualifying families in need then bless them with food and Christmas gifts. New friendships are formed when they deliver gifts to their adopted families as the families spend time together sharing the joy of the season.

The desire to adopt a child inspires many families to pursue options within foster care. Foster care can be a wonderful opportunity to experience a child in your home prior to an adoptive commitment. You will get a list of the children and ages and information on what types of gifts they would like. You will then be responsible to shop, wrap, and deliver the gifts to the family. Usually this doesn't happen as we have such a detailed adoption process where we take great pains in matching dog to family. In the event you need to return the dog to us for whatever reason, we ask for at least two weeks to prepare for the return of the dog and make sure we have a foster home available.
