You need to be able to establish outgoing connections on ports 4038 and 4039. For optimal performance, you need both incoming and outgoing connectivity on port 4137. You may not change the ports that BitWise uses. Allowing different ports would substantially detract from the ease of communication among BitWise users.

The main port used by P2P-Radio is the port 2000 (UDP & TCP). This port must be accessible from the Internet. The port 2001 (TCP) is used for communicating with your media player. Some ISP's throttle bandwidth on these ports, and some trackers have banned them because of that. So choose a port of your own between 20,000 and 60,000. In order to change the port all you need to do is choose a port number that is not black listed and enter it in your router. iroffer makes outgoing TCP connections to irc servers. Typically this is on port 6667 but this can be configured differently in the iroffer configuration file. iroffer will also make outgoing TCP connections for users who upload files or request a DCC chat. The port number used for uploads/DCC chat is dynamic and determined by the user performing the upload not iroffer. iroffer accpets incoming TCP connections from clients that download files from it or request DCC chat. Just the normal NetWare Core Protocol (NCP Port:524). This is the port that the Novell Client uses for simple file access. If the end users can access the folder on the server that contains PPPClient.exe, then that is all that needs to be open. The configurations are stored in a folder in the directory where you unzipped PPP.
