Business casual attire is appropriate for all daytime conference activities. For both the evening social events - Sunday Cocktail Reception and Monday Gala Event - business casual with a jacket for men and, afternoon or cocktail attire for women. Since meeting room temperatures vary, we recommend you bring a sweater or jacket to the sessions. Vancouver experiences an average daily high of 13°C/55°F and low of 5°C/41°F during the month of April.

Always a Tuxedo or a Performers Sequin Show Vest with Tux Pants and Shoes ( unless a different request is made) for indoor events. Outdoor events are specific to style of show. We can match the style of non-formal events such as a Western get together or Luau and have no problem wearing attire (within limits) that you the client may request. We're not too picky about how you look; we just want you to come and be comfortable. You might want to check the local weather before you get here so you can bring clothing appropriate for the expected weather.

Not unless you want to! Dress code on ships varies by cruise line. Whilst some ships are mainly casual by nature, others do have a more formal dress code policy. However, it is important to remember that you are the guest, and ultimately the decision maker when it comes to what you wear on the ship.

No, there is no dress code for the conference. If you are unsure what to wear, we recommend that you look at the way people dressed during last year's conference on the 2005 and 2005 picture gallery page. Most students dress casually, and many wear the conference T-shirt. Keep in mind the main purpose of the event, namely to exchange mathematical ideas between young people.

Cut-off jeans are not acceptable on lunch or dinner, but dressy jeans are okay on either cruise. Suggestive attire is not acceptable on any cruise. (Example: Bikini tops or lewd message tee’s) Open toe sandals are acceptable on any cruise. Shorts are acceptable on lunch cruises only. quot;Boarding Time" is the earliest our guests may board the ship. Typically we begin boarding 1/2 hour prior to the "Cruise Time.

For evening cruise events on our dinner boat the Royal Argosy, appropriate attire is business casual to dressy. Men traditionally wear slacks and sport coats, with or without ties. Women wear dresses or nice pants. We do not recommend T-shirts, jeans, shorts or sneakers in the evening. Brunch and Lunch cruises are generally more relaxed and casual attire is fine, as well as on our tours.

For the Graduate Student Roundtables, and most other conference panels, business casual is certainly appropriate. You are welcome and encouraged to participate in the conference from beginning to end, but this is not required.

The dress code for most activities of the conference is "smart-casual". Students should not wear jeans and T-shirts. During the conference, there will be a few events, such as the gala dinner that will require semi-formal dress. Men can wear dress slacks with and shirt and tie. Women can wear dresses, although blouses, skirts and trousers are also suitable. Be sure to bring clothes that are suitable for going to the desert or exploring the countryside.
