ColorScan? delivers accurate readings of at least 99.7% of all boards at line speeds up to 120 lugs per minute. ColorScan? will operate accurately at speeds up to 220 lugs per minute in higher speed stud mill operations. The operating system allows for the capture of rejected symbols for analysis. Graders having trouble with certain marks can quickly see the problem and make corrections.

We recommend at least a 500mhz machine...the faster the better. Atmosphere will run with slower computers, but once you've heard the sounds, you will want to run as many Atmospheres as possible at the same time! Of course...faster is always better.

You'll find that if you NEVER think about shooting fast or shooting accurately, you'll be way ahead in this game. Execute the fundamentals: acquire your target, align your sights, and hold your sights on the target until they lift in recoil. Acquire your next target, etc. The trick is to know what constitutes an acceptable sight picture for the shot required, and that takes experience. Useful tip: don't miss.

quot;Fast" is not an operative word for most runners at F.A.N.S. "Persistent," "tenacious" and "pretty slow" are more common descriptions. Four marathons (105 miles) is my goal. That averages 6 hours/marathon. That's about a 13 minute 40 second 'pace' per mile. But the first marathon will be at about a 10 minute pace, and there are rest stops twice a lap. Speed isn't the goal. It's endurance.

rdiff-backup can be limited by the CPU, disk IO, or available bandwidth, and the length of a session can be affected by the amount of data, how much the data changed, and how many files are present. That said, in the typical case the number/size of changed files is relatively small compared to that of unchanged files, and rdiff-backup is often either CPU or bandwidth bound, and takes time proportional to the total number of files.

How fast do you want to go? You're driving! How fast you go depends on you and your abilities, and higher speeds will come with knowledge and experience. While we encourage participants to find their limits, every student is coached at their individual comfort level. We also start with a variety of driving exercises geared to teach you the basics of car control.
