Choosing music for your montage is one of the most important decisions about the project, because the music significantly affects the tone and the tempo of your video. A fast-paced, high-energy rock song will work best with fun, exciting photos and use a lot more images per minute than a slower song, where the pictures will linger on screen longer. We suggest using music that's special or significant to you or to the audience that will watch the video.

Yes. The music in your photomontage must be your own. Any music you purchase for personal use can be used in your montage. It is safe to say almost all music has a copyright. In order for us to use copy-written music in your video album, you must supply the original CD (no CDR's) or we can purchase, on your behalf, a copy from a legal online sight.

Once you've added any content, such as a photo, video clip, or even some of our stock content, you will be able to preview your creation and select your music by clicking on the "Choose Music" link when previewing your project. You can choose songs from our music library or upload your own music files.

Absolutely! While One True Media provides you with some great music for your creations, we recognize that you may have the perfect song for your production. Just upload an MP3 (.mp3) or unprotected AAC (.m4a) music file to your account when creating a Montage or Slideshow. Uploaded songs will be retained in your account and can be used for any future Montages and Slideshows you may create. Please see our Terms of Use for additional information about using music.

Answer: We can use any music available for legal purchase. We use Napster to download music legally for you at $1.00 per song. If the music is not legally available for download, we ask that you please provide the music on CD. Your CD will be returned with your order.

This depends on the standard of the choir you book. It is always better to have straightforward music done well than more adventurous music done badly. If the musicians in your church are unwilling to perform what you want, don't press the point. Either get them to make suggestions about what they are happy to perform, or engage professionals.

You may have favorite songs that you would like to use or, if the montage is being made for someone else, they may have songs they love. Because of copyright issues, we ask that you bring or send an original CD (or CD's) with the songs of your choice. There is also a way to download music from Itunes. If you would like us to supply the music, we have some copyright-free instrumental music that we can use.

We recommend using music that holds meaning for the intended viewing audience. For instance, if you are having a slideshow made for your parents 50th Wedding Anniversary, you might try to think of songs that they loved when they were younger, or songs that they danced to at their wedding. If there are no particular songs that you wish to include, we have several instrumental pieces to choose from.
