Can the RCX play 2 notes at one time? How much of the Chopsticks tune needs to be played?

WSU LEGO Mindstorms Challenge 2005: SUPERBOTS
You can only play one note at a time on the RCX. If you play a recognizable rendition of the song "Chopsticks" this will be satisfactory. A recognizable tune would also relate to the number of notes and the beat that they were played. HINT: To program music use the piano mode in Robolab. If you are using RIS, look on page 24 of the user's guide to see the chart that shows the RCX tone frequencies that correspond to notes on a musical scale.

How do we play chopsticks?

WSU LEGO Mindstorms Challenge 2005: SUPERBOTS
The RCX can make sounds (tones, even notes). ROBOLab has a "piano-mode" so, if you know the music you can make it play a song. Is there going to be time limit imposed? Looks like robots could possibly keep searching the platform indefinitely to knock the objects off if no time limit imposed. The robot has 10 minutes to complete the course. Additionally, the judge will have the power to adjust the time limit to his or her discretion for each contestant if the need arises.

I wanna play over the Internet heroes 2. how do i do that?

FAQ's
Not that hard (for me at least): Run the game -> click on new game -> then click on Multiplayer Game -> select Network. To play over the Internet, you need to select TCP/IP (you need windows 95 to use it). After that, you need to select if you are the host or the guest. the host controls most of the setting up there (so the host should be the one who knows more about it :) and all the other players (as you know, you can play against more than 2 players) are the guests in the game.

Do I Have to Take Notes?

dnm: FAQ on Syllabus Policies
You aren't required to take notes, and I'll never check whether you do, but chances are it will make your life easier, so you might consider it. Many of the questions above can be answered by scribbling marginal notes on your readings-e.g., a star or exclamation point for things that interest or surprise you. A "vs. FirstAuthor" or "like FirstAuthor" for contradictions and connections. Underline and scribble "Arg" for main arguments in secondary sources.

Do you eat with chopsticks?

My Lunch Can Beat Up Your Lunch!
Yep. Whenever I eat Japanese or Chinese food I use chopsticks. That's just what I'm used to. It feels strange for me to eat Asian food with a fork. Really, chopsticks are very easy to use once you get the hang of it, and using a fork in a bento box can be awkward. I don't even want to think about using a knife! But there's no rule that says you can't use a fork and knife, or a spoon, or your fingers, or a sand trowel, or anything else you want to. Whatever works.

Can you have more than one copy of the same CONDITION in play at the same time?

Yes - as long as the condition is not UNIQUE - which requires that card to adhere to all regulations concerning UNIQUE cards in play. EXAMPLE: You can have 2 Blade Tips in the Support Area at the same time because they are non-unique conditions. However, the Sauron Culture condition THIN & STRETCHED does have the unique "dot" by the title which meaning that this card is in fact UNIQUE and you may only have one in play (in this case, on the ring-bearer.)

What was that tune the Hunters played at gigs before jumping on stage?

True Believers - Hunters & Collectors Online
It is music from the 1976 action-thriller movie "Assault on Precinct 13", directed by John Carpenter. John Archer rerecorded it into the form that fans know and love. There is a great story behind this, but Rob has a "kind of like" of the mystery...

When I play a MOZART tune, I hear nothing. What's wrong?

mozart FAQ (frequently asked questions)
Important background: mozart uses MIDI synthesis for playback. This is quite different from audio playback of CDs and various kinds of sound file. MIDI comprises a set of instructions to a synthesiser which creates the sound. There is no "recording" as such. Computers can be properly configured for audio but not for MIDI. MIDI is not used by your computer in the normal run of events, and so it is quite possible that you wouldn't know if this were the case.

Can you play a Bollywood theme tune for our ceremony?

Soho String Quartet
Yes! We transcribe and perform virtually any piece of music upon request. All songs cost £30 per arrangement.

Why are some tune names different than the names listed on the CD liner notes?

Cape Breton Fiddle Recordings
Traditional tunes are often known by several different names, and often there are variations in the exact wording and spelling of any one name. To make it more evident when a tune appears on multiple recordings, I have chosen a preferred name for each tune and used the preferred tune name in the recording tune lists. My choice of a preferred name is often arbitrary (although I follow some naming conventions), and may even be incorrect. In rare cases, tunes are misidentified on recordings.

Can I play a CD with my Movie Player 2 or Music Player without importing it?

Kaleidescape - FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
