If you later want to update a CHDK version, just copy the new PS.fir and Diskboot.bin files onto the SD card and overwrite the old ones. You do not have to delete any other file. All settings are forward/backward compatible. If you give the range to be charted a name, you can have it update automatically. Suppose your current range is B5:B20. Define a name, "Myrange" to be =OFFSET($B$5,0,0,COUNT($B:$B),1) where column B contains only the numbers to chart. Then, when you put a value in B21, MyRange will automatically include it. Now use this name in your chart instead of the cell references you see in the series formula. As you add data the chart will change.

There sure is! Right click on the tray icon and select properties. In the menu that opens, select the General Tab. Uncheck the box that says "Launch Main Window on Startup" and the Agent will start up minimized from now on.

Your Group directive (probably in conf/httpd.conf) needs to name a group that actually exists in the /etc/group file (or your system's equivalent). This problem is also frequently seen when a negative number is used in the Group directive (e.g., "Group #-1"). Using a group name -- not group number -- found in your system's group database should solve this problem in all cases.
