Yes, Fairmont's 5th hole is a mile in altitude and 649 yards long. Fairmont's course also has the largest green in Montana, a three tiered green on hole #3.

A couple of different way to handle that one...after your three definitive closest to the pin winners, go with the next closest out of all the remaining closest on all the par 3s OR pick one of the par 3 holes at the beginning of the event and designate that the two closest to the pin winners on that hole will advance to the Round II Shoot-Out. You also have the option to give the remaining slot away via a raffle or live auction.

Construction of the current building began in 1972. There have been various resorts, hotels, bath houses, plunges, dance halls, and barrooms here in this location over the past 100+ years, mostly under the name of Gregson Hot Springs. At one time, there was a railroad depot, school, and dedicated town site called Gregson.

You can choose to only cover four of the par 3s or, you can add-on additional par 3s which includes hole-in-one coverage at the additional hole(s) and one additional closest to the pin winner at that hole(s). The additional closest to the pin winner(s) would also move on to The JetBlue Challenge Round II Shoot-Out making it a five or six person Shoot-Out. Yes there is a Robert Trent Jones golf course at the old Cotton Bay Club south of Rock Sound. The club is closed, but the golf course is normally open. However, maintenance is not the best. A new golf course will be built according to the article in Hotel News... "Starwood to Develop Cotton Bay Villas in Eleuthera, Bahamas", dated Aug. 21, 2005. One of the things that endears us to this game so much is that each golf course is different. However, there is a somewhat standard range of length that most players seek out when looking for a place to play. An acceptable 18 hole course would play to a par of 70 - 72 and have a length of from 6200 yards to 6600 yards from the middle tees. A course of these lengths would then likely be 6600 to 7000 yards long from the rear tees.

Yes. There will be a mile marker clearly displayed at each mile. In addition there will be a half way point identified and count down to the finish from 13 miles. Time splits will be shouted out to all runners at 5 and 10 miles.

If you see volcano-shaped hills of dirt up to 24 inches tall in your yard, golf course or field, you most likely have a burrowing mole on your property below the surface setting up a den.
