We don't recommend bringing video cameras, or even expensive still cameras, on trips. Many people bring disposable waterproof cameras, which work just fine. The quality of the pictures is reasonably good, and if you lose your camera, it's not the end of the world. Many river trips have professional photographers riverside, whose photos you can view and order after the trip.

If you have video clips that you took with your digital camera, we can include those in your DVD photo shows too! Have the photo developer save the video clips on your CDs along with your photos and leave the rest to our professionals . It is best to limit individual video clips from 2 to 4 minutes each and not to have too many on your photo shows as videos take up lots of space.

If a camp or lodge is connected to electricity mains or has a generator you may be able to recharge your video batteries. Many camps and lodges have the correct adapter plugs however we recommend that you bring your own plug and converter. One of the best options for recharging video batteries is an adapter allowing you to recharge from a vehicle battery.

In the Windows Live Photo Gallery, QuickTime videos are displayed if you have QuickTime installed. However, in the Windows Vista Photo Gallery there is no compatible codec available for Quicktime video files, so this is not yet possible. Some artists forbid use of professional cameras and/or flash photography so to be on the safe side go with an average everyday camera if you wish to take pictures. No. All of our adventures are fully guided by professional and patient guides with many years experience and an intimate knowledge of their local waters. They will happily cater for novices and experienced fly fishers alike. However, to get the most out of your holiday, if you are new to fly fishing we strongly recommend you take casting lessons starting well in advance of travel.
