As SWR neither offers nor recommends modifications to its speaker enclosures, wiring diagrams for such procedures are not offered. Please note that modifying your SWR product will void your warranty. Although this idea has become increasingly popular, we don't recommend applying more power to your speaker system than it is designed to accept. Exceeding the power handling capacity of your speaker enclosure is considered misuse and can render your warranty null and void in the event of any damage to your loudspeakers. This driver will perform well in virtually any type of box. We have had excellent reports from customers who have mounted them in in everything from a flower pot to a full horn. There are examples on the web of enclosures made entirely of aluminium. We cannot supply designs for all the options as these are virtually unlimited. The Acoustic Lens has been voiced to work best with a flat response, full range system. The better the frequency response of the system, the better the Lens will sound. There are a number of "acoustic" amplifier combos on the market, some better than others. Better still is a system like a small PA system, with component mixer, amp and speakers. These types of systems will generally have a better frequency response, more dynamic range and more flexibility.

No, they are not painted unless otherwise specified. They are finished in a high-quality, U.V. protected colored gelcoat, the same gelcoat used with most fiberglass boats today. However, custom painting is available for all our enclosures.

We now use a universal polished aluminum mounting clamp that will fit towers from 1 7/8"- 2.5" in diameter using the supplied rubber liners. Additional rubber strips can be used for towers smaller than 1 7/8". Our customers have also used PVC piping cut in half and installed around the tower to make the tower mounting diameter larger in order for the clamps to fit properly.

Yes, our 6.5-7” wakeboard tower enclosures will fit many different 6.5” and oversized 6.5” speakers, but not all of them so check the speaker specifications carefully to make sure they will fit with our enclosures. The outside diameter of our enclosures should match up as close as possible to the speaker or speaker grill diameter to get the best possible fit. Remember to check the cutout diameter requirements as well.

In TX, the S-meter bargraph breaks into two segments; SWR and RF output. In SSB, it can optionally display ALC and compression. In addition to the SWR bargraph, which is available at all times when transmitting, the SWR is shown numerically on the VFO A display during TUNE (up to 99.9:1). Power in watts is shown on the VFO B display. The only time SWR is not shown during TUNE is when you're using the 0-dBm transverter I/O (on the KXV3 module).

All Harbeth speakers need to be lifted off the floor and to an operational height by placing them on some sort of stand. None of our speakers will work correctly on shelves or close to nearby surfaces because the sound waves generated by the speakers will be acoustically coupled to (or trapped by) those surfaces, and re-radiated into the room. This will disturb our intended frequency balance of the speakers especially at low and middle frequencies where the speaker is omni directional.
