Where do I find the model and serial number on my Precor Product?

For Elliptical Fitness Crosstrainers, the model and serial number will be on the rear of the unit near where the power cord plugs in. For Treadmills, they will be on the label near the power cord entry and on the frame under the left rear of the treadmill. How are calories calculated on Precor products?

The actual, calculations are based on a profile developed in conjunction with the American College of Sports Medicine. There are a number of variables that go into the formula including, weight, speed, incline setting and torque. Since everybody burns calories at different rates it is impossible to create absolutely accurate calorie burn rates without using sophisticated and sensitive (very expensive) monitoring equipment.
