Club Princeton has a responsibility to provide a fun, safe environment for all members. Visitors to Ontario must be at least 16 years old, and have a valid driver's licence from their own country, if you want to drive. Visitors staying longer than three months need an International Driver's Permit from your own country. When driving a borrowed or rented car you should also ensure that automobile insurance coverage is sufficient. Please note that car rental companies may have their own higher age requirements for leasing automobiles. Check with each firm directly.

No. You may not substitute a ticket for a driver's license as ID, even with a student ID. We need another government-issued ID, such as a passport or government-issued state ID card. A student ID is insufficient and can not be accepted as identification.

In some countries a U.S. driver's license is valid, however, CIBT strongly recommends that your traveler obtain an International Driving Permit (or an Inter-American Driving Permit for Latin and South America), which we can obtain for you. IDP's are often required when renting a car, even when it is not required when driving private automobiles. In some cases it must be shown to the rental agency. In other cases, it is only necessary in the event of an accident or traffic violation.

In general, the rule is that foreign licenses are valid for six months. However, if your residency is abroad, you have it easier since your driver’s license has no time limits. If you do claim a residence in Germany, you can legally sit behind the wheel for half a year. After that, your license must be transferred. With some countries, this transfer requires the theoretical and driving tests, which are administered by driving schools.

A passport, which needs to be valid for at least 6 months from the time of entry, is required for entering Costa Rica from another country. Ideally leave the original passport in the room's safe deposit box and carry around your license or a copy of the passport.

If you have met your reinstatement requirements and are otherwise eligible, you can get your driver license back 90 days from the starting date of your suspension. We will send the license back to you with your reinstatement notice. If your license was revoked for one year, and you have met your reinstatement requirements, you must retest and complete an application for a Missouri driver license before driving.

A State ID is a barcoded alpha-numeric tag that is applied at the time the equipment is received. The tag is used to identify SDSU campus inventory and to track the equipment during its life on campus. Typically, the State ID can be found on a yellow sticker placed on durable campus items.

If you have a valid license from one state, you may use it in other states that you visit. But, if you make a permanent move to another state, you'll have to take a trip to the local department of motor vehicles to apply for a new license. Usually, you must do this within 30 days after moving to the new state. Most states will issue your new license without requiring tests, though some may ask you to take a vision test and a written exam covering basic driving rules.

You may travel to the United States on a valid visa in an expired passport as long as all the biographic information on your visa (name, date of birth, nationality, etc.) matches the same information on your new passport. Ensure that the visa has not been hole-punched or damaged in any other way.

If you plan to return to Illinois within 90 days and your license is still valid, you may request that a 90-day temporary driver's license be mailed to you at your out-of-state address. If you plan to be out-of-state for more than 90 days, you may request that forms to apply for a non-photo duplicate driver's license be sent to you.

No. By federal law, it's illegal for commercial motor vehicle drivers to possess more than one license, and you may have a license only from your state of legal residence.

If you are in the military and stationed outside the state of Illinois, you, your spouse and children living with you may have the expiration of your driver's licenses deferred for up to 45 days after your discharge or reassignment to a military base in Illinois. A Military Deferral Certificate, designed to be carried with the expired license, can be issued at no charge and mailed to you at your out of state address.

Forty-eight states belong either to an agreement called the "Driver's License Compact" or the "Non-Resident Violator Compact." (The only states that don't belong to one or the other are Michigan and Wisconsin.) When you get a ticket in one of these states, the department of motor vehicles will relay the information to your state -- and the violation will affect your driving record as if the ticket had been given at home.

If you can keep your old passport with you, you do not need a new visa. Take the old passport with the valid visa and new passport together as your international ID.
