The Share a Calendar in Outlook 2007 document explains the sharing process for both user and resource calendars--the same technique is used for mailbox sharing.

Choose the folder you want to access by clicking the down arrow at the end of the folder labeled Folder:

If your college or department offers Outlook Web Access, you can access your Outlook calendar from the portal by clicking on the Outlook icon in the upper right corner of the RamPoint screen.

Click on OK a few times and then run Outlook. The additional mailbox should be listed. If you receive errors when you try to expand it you need to check your permissions to the mailbox.

If another user has shared a calendar with you, you will be able to access the shared calendar through Entourage. However, you cannot share your own calendar or set permissions through Entourage. If you are using Entourage and wish to share your calendar, you will need to login to Outlook (you can access Outlook via the Application Portal) to enable sharing and grant the desired permissions for your mailbox, including your calendar, task list, contacts, etc.

Your email address will be your Outlook username followed by @bsu.edu If your username is jdoe, your email address will be jdoe@bsu.edu

To open such a mailbox, you must first have delegate privileges to the additional mailbox folders. Here are two methods for opening a folder from a different account: In the Name box, type the name of the person who granted you delegate permission, or click Name to select from a list. Note: If you have author or editor permission, any items you create while the shared folder is active are stored in the other person's folder.

If you are designated as the owner of a resource, you want the Access an Exchange Resource in Webmail or Outlook 2007 document.

Under All Calendar Items you will see your current calendars. Just below this you will find a link to Open a Shared Calendar. Click this link. This will open a dialog box. You can select name and search the GAL for the desired contact or you can type their name or username into the box. If you have not been given access by the person yet, you will have the option to send them a request for access.

OWA opens to display the contents of your mailbox and your browser's address field will display the URL https://mail.abdn.ac.uk/exchange/ the end of this URL, type in mailname/calendar/ where mailname is the mailname of the person whose calendar you wish to access, If you see an error message - the page cannot be found - check that you haven't mis-typed or mis-spelled the URL. If the Outlook Web Access Login page appears, you have not been granted permission to view this person's Calendar.

By default the Qlockwork calendar views at a scale of 5 minutes per row. The Outlook calendar views at 30 minutes per row. In Outlook 2003, if you view both the Qlockwork calendar and the normal Outlook calendar side-by-side, then Outlook will choose one of these views. If it chooses the 5 minute view, the default calendar gets very long; if it chooses the 30 minute view, the Qlockwork calendar gets very cluttered. To resolve this, view the calendars on their own rather than side-by-side.

A generated schedule may be exported directly to the Microsoft Outlook Calendar, so that each agent will receive a set of appointments that correspond to his or her scheduled shifts. You must have Microsoft Outlook installed on your computer, and all Outlook users must be connected to a Microsoft Exchange server. Before exporting a generated schedule, each agent should have a valid Microsoft Exchange mail address configured in the program.

To sync your calendar with Outlook or Outlook Express, you will need to download and install the FuseSync utility by visiting Settings -> Utilities. For instructions on using this plug-in, please refer to the manual bundled with the software.
