Our wheel cover product lines use state of the art spring steel clips or wire retention systems. These systems provide the most secure retention possible. If they are mounted properly to the wheel, hubcaps will not come off unless you intentionally remove them to change a tire. When you install any hubcap, always check it to be sure you cannot remove it with your bare hands. If you can, your wheel may be slightly oversize and hubcaps may be able to fly off.

Sapphire Car Rentals is not responsible for anything left in the rented vehicles. However, if an item is found in a rental vehicle, it will be turned into lost and found at the rental location. You can contact the rental office for more information about your lost item(s).

The owner of the vehicle will properly complete a Replacement of Iowa Certificate of Title to a Motor Vehicle Application. If the lost title reflects more than one person on the face of the title for ownership then all owners must sign the Replacement of Iowa Certificate of Title to a Motor Vehicle Application.

If you can't find the original title, or if it's been stolen, destroyed, or damaged, you can get a replacement title at a title office for $6. However, only the owner or lienholder can apply for the title. If you happen to find the original title later, be sure to take it to the title office so that it can be canceled.

Just remember when our directions say turn left, that's what we really, really mean, and when the directions say travel 5.2 miles and turn left, it does not mean go 20 miles and give us a call. A $65 fee ann Application for Vehicle Transaction(s) (VSD 190) marked "duplicate title" must be submitted stating the reason for the duplicate title request. The original title must have been lost, stolen or mutilated. The application should indicate the exact vehicle identification number and the last license plate number.

No. You cannot do a lien on a vehicle that you have a monetary interest in. You must request a duplicate title from the DMV.

No. You cannot conduct a lien sale on a vehicle in which you have a monetary interest. You may submit an Application for Duplicate Title (REG 227) when the original title has been lost, stolen or mutilated. Back to Top of Page
