If you don't have any thumbnails / resized images at all, it means that there's probably no image toolkit module active in your G2 installation. G2 needs either the imagemagick, netpbm or GD module to be active to generate thumbnails and resized images. Note: Imagemagick and netpbm both need an external binary application in addition to the G2 module.

All the generated files and folders are located in the Target Folder as specified on the Files tab in the Arles Image Web Page Creator window.

In some cases, the large images are clipped when you print them out. This is more of a problem with IE than Netscape. IE does tend to clip off the right side of the image. I have tried making the margins smaller to reveal more of the image. Netscape tends to size the image to fit the page. In some cases, this will distort the image.

No, we don't resize the images you upload, we retain the images in their original size and also create a smaller thumbnail to make it easy for you to manage them. We however recommend that you upload images upto a maximum of 750 pixels in width and 550 pixels in height to make them easily viewable. This will also save you a lot of space on your account.

If your image is not the maximum size for the gallery page your thumbnail may be distorted. This exaggeration is most noticeable in vertical images. If you want to avoid the distortion please make a box in Photoshop that is 447 pixels wide and 350 pixels high that is white. Then save this newly generated file as the file for the registry. HTML e-mail from the MmHTML modules contains only hyperlinked graphics and so the images/thumbnails are hyperlinked to your web site too. This means that the graphics are only visible if the recipient is online. This problem is caused by advertisement blocking tools such as the Ad Blocking feature in Norton Firewall and Internet Security or ZoneAlarm Pro.
