When you are starting a 3jam with a large group of people, you will be prompted to choose between a reply-all or broadcast 3jam. A reply-all 3jam has the same behavior as a normal 3jam, where everyone receives everyone else's replies. A broadcast 3jam is where messages sent by the originator are received by everyone but replies are only received by the originator.

Broadcast is a type of communication in which every possible receiver is reached by a unique transmission.

They have to be on a website with a free CameraWare viewer like those listed on our CameraWare Communities list, or using the CameraWare Standalone Viewer. Then they just pull up the Channel Menu, look for your broadcast name, click on it, and wallah!! There you are :-)

Subscribers get a higher priority service than guest visitors. Also if you use one email address for a correspondence and switch to another I have no way of knowing you are actually the same person even if it is perfectly clear to you.

If you click "reply" to respond to a posted message, your reply will go to the whole list. If you prefer your message to go only to the individual poster, you must change the email address in the "to" section. If your reply is continuing the discussion of the previous topic, please leave that topic in the subject field of the message. If you are changing the topic, please change the word or phrase in the subject field, in order to describe your new topic.

Just send your callsign - once if conditions are good, twice if they are poor. Don't send "ZS1AN ZS1AN DE N1XXX N1XXX N1XXX K" - I know who I am, and the timing of your reply will clue me in to the fact that you are replying to me, not to someone else. And better not to send your callsign too many times, a competent contest operator should get it first time. So instead you just send "N1XXX" and wait for the reply.

While reading another user's message, look for the link that says "Reply to this message." Click on it. If you have not already logged in to the forums, you will be asked to do so. You will then be taken to the "Reply to" page where you can type your response and then submit it by clicking on the post message button at the bottom of the page.

This button "re-packages" a selected message and addresses it to everyone who received a copy of the original.

Four to six weeks is typical. Be sure to wait at least the amount of time reported in Writer's Market or the publication's writers' guidelines before writing or calling to inquire about the status of your query or manuscript.

If you forward your mail to the Exchange server, you have the option to use the Out of Office Assistant through Outlook and/or the vacation message through UNIX.

Try writing again to the other User. To show your sincerity it is best to avoid one-liner messages. Courtesy also helps. However, even the best message does not guarantee a reply. There are usually a few reasons for this: The person is busy and doesn't check his or her e-mail very often. Be patient and try waiting at least a week. The person may be getting a large number of replies, so he/she hasn't had time to get back to everyone.
