This will depend in part on the school. For many schools, your scores will be valid for five years. However for some, they will be valid for only three years. The medical schools count backward from the time you would matriculate into medical school to determine how old your scores are. So to determine if your scores are valid, determine when you would start medical school, and count back 3 or 5 years.

The GRE is a departmental requirement so check with your department to see if the GRE is required, and if so, what their requirements are. Scores are reported for 5 years after taking the test. Your scores are valid as long as your level of English proficiency remains the same. Your proficiency can, however, improve or decline over time. For this reason, the more recent the score, the more likely it is to be a valid indication of your proficiency. ETS Europe recommends that a TOEIC? score be considered valid for up to 2 years.

MCAT scores are good for a period of two years. For instance, April 2005 is the oldest MCAT accepted for entry with the 2008 first year class.

A passing score remains valid for 18 months from the date indicated in your letter from CPAES. After 18 months, if you have not completed all four sections of the exam, the score expires and you must retake that section of the exam.

GMAT scores are valid for five years. More specifically, GMAT tests taken more than five years prior to the deadline for your application submission are not valid. If you have taken the test more than once within the last five years, the admission committee will use your highest score to evaluate your application. All applicants to the RMED Program need to have competitive GPA and MCAT scores. Talk to your premedical advisor at your university.

GMAT scores are valid for five (5) years. If the date of your test is greater than five years from the date of your application, you will need to retake the GMAT.

We will not consider the January 2007 MCAT as a basis for determining whether to invite candidates for an interview. We might, however, consider the score if an applicant on our waitlist after interviewing sends an official score report.

NJMS accepts MCAT scores from any year. All 2007 MCAT dates are acceptable for applicants who wish to enter in 2008.

Membership is valid for one year from the date your initial membership application was received. Within 30 days of the expiration of your membership, you will receive a written request for renewal. If we do not receive a request to suspend Passport Premiere access, your membership will automatically be renewed at the prevailing annual membership fee as of the anniversary date of the membership. The renewal membership fee will be settled to the credit card account on file.
