Water quality is critical. Vehicle manufacturers recommend mixing de-ionized or distilled water with antifreeze. Do not use tap water, which may contain minerals that will corrode your cooling system and/or cause scale buildup. Do not use water softened with salts. The water used in Arctic Blend? antifreeze is de-ionized, which is chemically equivalent to distilled water.

The stock radiator is good enough for the V6. Some modifications have to be done for the radiator to work properly. The inlet and outlet on the radiator have to be modified to the same size as the V6 uses. Another alternative is to use the V8 MGB radiator

You vehicle's coolant system is set for the proper coolant mix. With plain water, or the wrong mix, your engine could get too hot, but you wouldn't get the "overheated" warning. Your engine could be badly damaged and might even catch fire. Also, too much water in the mix can freeze and crack the engine, radiator, heater core, and other parts. Damage resulting from using plain water or the wrong mixture would not be covered by your warranty.

Ordinarily the radiant tubing must run at a lower temperature than the baseboard. This means that a mixing valve is used to provide a lower temperature for the radiant heating tube. It might be possible to avoid the expense of the mixing valve if the baseboard can be run at a lower temperature and if you select a radiant tubing with a high temperature rating, but the situation will not be ideal.

We strongly recommend using "distilled" water, as many municipal water sources contain chemicals, minerals and salts that can cause premature scale buildup on your fountain. Never use well water which contains high amounts of lime and other minerals.

Only distilled water should be used to run your Live Steam locomotive - under no circumstances should you use tap water or de-ionised water as this will damage the locomotive. Sometimes a little bit of dirt will hold the safety valve off its seat. A gentle tap on the body top, near the valve, will often allow it to re-seat.

Radiators are heavy items and should be securely fastened to the wall. Specific care should be taken to identify the construction of the wall and use the appropriate fasteners to secure the radiator bracket. Each radiator bracket has several positions for screws. For quicker saturation with ozone for drinking we recommend cold, purified (filtered) water. Distilled water can also be used. Please note: Cold or ice water saturates with ozone to a greater degree than warm water. The WOZ3 meets minimum requirements for water sterilization and is meant to be used for small quantities of water.

Generally, plain old tap water is fine. You must add a water conditioner to remove the chlorine/chloramine. If you live on well water, obtain a pH test kit and see where you're at. Mid 6 to 8 should be fine for most fish as they can adapt. Never use the pH buffer chemicals. They only cause problems and make water changes super complicated. Unless you're keeping a marine tank or trying to breed discus, I do not recommend reverse osmosis water.

Yes you can. Mineral buildup is a problem where the water is heated, i.e. in the tank. The water is being cooled in the tubing so mineral buildup is not possible in the tubing. Mineral buildup in the tank can be minimized by using a powerful heater so that you can have low operating temperatures. Mineral buildup is not likely at temperatures below 1400 F.

Yes, water beds won’t give you as much support as regular mattresses, but the Bedge will still be effective. Typical wedges are much shorter than the Bedge. They may simply bend the neck and elevate the head, without raising the esophagus above the stomach. Unless you elevate the whole upper body, you’re not getting gravity to work for you in keeping acid from refluxing. In addition, the Bedge is made of an extra firm polyether and has a comfortable, "egg crate" sleeping surface.
