Yes, TB testing is done at the Clinic. TB testing is not done for people who have insurance or who are having the test done to work in school districts or for health care facilities. School districts and health care facilities can take care of the testing under their own insurance plans or in their own facilities.

Upon arriving at the clinic and checking in, you will receive an identification number that will be used to identify you throughout your visit. A counselor will then collect information pertaining to your sexual history as well as blood and urine samples. A clinician will then examine you to check for any visual signs of sexual infections, as well as give the hepatitis B and possibly the hepatitis A vaccines.

The laboratory consists of a waiting room and several small specimen collection rooms. When you arrive at the laboratory, indicate to the lab staff at the front desk that a medical order has been faxed in for you with your name or code name on it (depending how you set up your test).
