Logs are received at Timeless Timber Inc. then they are sorted, scaled and scanned with a metal detector for nails. They are moved into our plant until ready to cut. We have invested heavily in state-of-the-art steam kilns and proprietary technology to selectively remove the specific amounts of water from each specific species to the correct stabilizing moisture content without damaging the wood.

Extremely dry. Each log has only 6% or 9% moisture, split firewood may have in excess of 20% retained moisture.

Both, depending on the budget and preference of the owner. For years we have built with both dry and green logs. In those years, green logs offered us close to, but not quite absolute perfection. Dry logs were better than green at that time. Over the years, we have tweaked our green log fitting systems, until we were able to offer a construction system that offers tight wood on wood joinery, after drying and settling is completed, using green logs.

You can build with "green" logs as long as you allow enough settling over windows and doors. We do have an inventory of dry logs also.

All legitimate list managers keep logs. If you do not, you should think about hiring an outside agency to manage your lists. Find someone who can handle this type of problem.

Incoming corn is “tempered” for 10-45 minutes by adding water (liquid or steam) to raise the moisture content of the grain. The moisture will primarily enter through the “tip cap” (cob attachment point) of the kernel and be absorbed by the germ and the cells between the pericarp (outer seed covering) and the endosperm. This moisture differential between various kernel components promotes efficient separation of the endosperm from the pericarp and germ.

The dry-grind ethanol producer converts corn into fuel ethanol. This is the fastest growing area of corn processing. Dry corn is ground, mixed with water, and cooked with enzymes to break the starch in the corn down to sugars. The sugars are then fermented into ethanol. The residual solids (Distillers Dried Grains with Solubles – DDGS) are used for animal feed.

Until quicker, cheaper processes took its place in commercial processing, dry-aging was the standard for meat aging. The beef is hung for about two weeks in a climate-controlled environment. This allows the meat's enzymes to break it down and condenses the flavor by removing excess water, resulting in tender beef with a signature flavor. All 7 BAR 2 Beef is dry-aged.

We collect no logs or customer data beyond what is required for performance tuning and security monitoring of our servers. This data does not have any information, which can identify a customer or customers' personal usage. Any such data is analyzed only statistically, and is destroyed soon thereafter. Wood is always trying to come into equilibrium with the air surrounding it, so its moisture content can change somewhat after it's been dried.

Nyle offers the drying units only, and not the chamber structure. We do provide technical plans and specifications for the construction and/or supply of the drying chamber with each purchase of a Nyle unit.

Oral dryness can be the result of insufficient production of saliva. More often, we find that the dry and pasty feeling described by our clients is a response of the tongue and tissues of the mouth to an increased VSC production. Once the oral bacteria are reduced and their by-products eliminated, the sensation disappears and there is no longer a complaint of oral dryness.

My method is to put the tobacco in a large, clean bowl, and cover the bowl with a damp towel. The towel should not touch the tobacco. Check the tobacco every couple hours, and when it reaches the moisture level you like, store it in an airtight container. Glass "bail top" jars work well, but be sure to clean them thoroughly. (See the next item on mold.) Different tobaccos take up moisture at different rates.

Dry AMD occurs when the light-sensitive cells in the macula slowly break down, gradually blurring central vision in the affected eye. As dry AMD gets worse, you may see a blurred spot in the center of your vision. Over time, as less of the macula functions, central vision is gradually lost in the affected eye. The most common symptom of dry AMD is slightly blurred vision. You may have difficulty recognizing faces. You may need more light for reading and other tasks.

Logs allow you an opportunity to say "I climbed this." To add a log, click "Climbers Log" on the corresponding Mountain page. Logs are brief messages. If you plan on creating a detailed entry, consider submitting a trip report.

Apache provides a couple of different ways of doing this. The recommended method is to compile the mod_log_config module into your configuration and use the CustomLog directive. You can either log the additional information in files other than your normal transfer log, or you can add them to the records already being written.

The maximum flexibility for removing unwanted information from log files is obtained by post-processing the logs, or using piped-logs to feed the logs through a program which does whatever you want. However, Apache does offer the ability to prevent requests from ever appearing in the log files. You can do this by using the SetEnvIf directive to set an environment variable for certain requests and then using the conditional CustomLog syntax to prevent logging when the environment variable is set.
