The map is a separate application and thus the normal browser tools are not functional with it. Additionally, the deletion of the browser tools provided more space for a larger map, resulting in greater usability. However, we have provided functionality that mimics the browser tools of "Back" and "Refresh". If you need to go back to the traffic home page, just close the map window.

Pan the map by pressing and holding your device's up/down/right/left control or by dragging the map using your stylus. To pan rapidly to a section on the map, you can tap on one of nine invisible sections. This is known as 'Zone Zoom.' This feature is turned off by default. To enable this feature, tap Menu -> Tools -> Options and then select the option 'Zone move on screen tap'. With 'Zone Zoom' turned on the screen is split into nine equally sized boxes.

Use the zoom bar and arrows on the top left hand side of the map to zoom in and out and north, south, east or west. You can also search by postcode or landmark type using the search field. You can also grab and drag the map around to navigate by using your mouse. Postcode searches will land you in the middle of that postcode area. You can then click on any icon that interests you to read a full description and adopt it.

The Bellevue Real-Time Traffic Map provides up to the minute real-time traffic congestion information to traveling public. By knowing the current traffic conditions, motorists can make informed decisions on trip planning and route selection, leading to reduced roadway congestion and travel delays for motorists.

This feature is not available at this time. However, you can get traffic pictures by selecting the link "Traffic Cameras in Bellevue" at the bottom right corner of the map.

A map has a notion of comparison, since one of its template parameters is a comparison function. However, operator< for maps uses the elements' operator< rather than that comparison function. This appears odd, but it is deliberate and we believe that it is correct. the most trivial level, this isn't a bug in our implementation because it's what's mandated by the C++ standard. (The behavior of operator< is described in Table 65, in section 23.1.

A datum is a mathematical model of the Earth. Map makers may use a different model to chart their maps, so position coordinates will differ from one datum to another. Lines of latitude and longitude on a map or chart are referenced to a specific map datum. Every chart has a map datum reference. The datum for the map you are using can be found in the legend of the map.

The Navigation Bar on the top left-hand side, operates exactly like the Navigation Bar on the rest of the Traffic Site. Map Tools are located on the left-hand side beneath the navigation bar. These tools allow you to view different areas of the map and get different information. To learn more about Map Tools, see the question, "How do I use the Map Tools?". The Map Refresh Interval Control is located just below the Map Tools.

The Traffic and Driving Times Map shows five main kinds of information, all of which reflect real-time conditions: Traffic Congestion: The map shows the highways in the region and color-codes each according to how congested it is at the current time. Speeds: Select the Information Tool and click on any portion of a color-coded highway to view speeds at that location. All information will appear in the Information Detail Box located in the upper, right-hand column.

The map includes only city arterials that have signalized intersections. Some roadway segments are displayed as white for no equipment. The map is generated from data collected by equipment at the traffic signal (see question #7 above), thus signal equipment is needed to display a road segment on the map. Some common reasons are we do not have a communication link between the signal and the Traffic Management Center at City Hall, or we do not have loop detectors installed.

Engineers do their best to relate the traffic data collected at each intersection to a level of traffic congestion and color display on the map. In general, we have found through calibration efforts that the map is both reasonably accurate and consistent. Higher precision can be achieved over time through ongoing calibrations, field observation, user feedback and fine-tuning. Users should keep in mind, however, that these are estimates of congestion.

The real-time traffic map allows traffic engineers to more readily monitor traffic conditions and identify congestion due to heavy traffic, accidents, construction, or other special events. This in turn will allow engineers to make even better use of the city's traffic computer network that allows real-time signal timing adjustments at city intersections. Engineers will use the city's recently expanded traffic camera system to help verify and assess traffic congestion identified on the map.

Inrix is constantly expanding its traffic coverage to new markets. When new markets become available, you will see a popup message saying that maps for one or more new cities have become available for download. When such a message appears, click the Install button in the message and you will be taken to the Add/Remove Maps screen showing the list of downloadable cities. This means an update is available for a map you currently have installed on your device.

First create the user in NT that you'll want to have mapped through Authentix. Once you've done this, edit your NTFS security properties for the directory or directories you want protected. If you add a group to the NTFS permissions, make sure your user is in that group! In Authentix, click Access from the menu. Then add the directory you want to protect and map to the NT account.

The Future Land Use Map is a component of the CPP that identifies the proposed general distribution, location, and extent of residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural, conservation, institutional, and other land uses within the time horizon of the CPP, the year 2020. The Future Land Use Map reflects the goals, objectives, and policies of the CPP relative to land use planning.

Yes, you can. In fact, it is a good idea to include in your signature a link to your 'Map & Directions' page, where the map is embedded. This is an excellent way of including very useful information which can be used when required without overloading anyone's in-boxes with unnecessary kilobytes.

Coordinates are the same as on normal maps. You have your X-axis, which is the horizontal axis. The Y-axis is the vertical axis. Coordinates are usually made like this: (XX,YY). Planet coordinates add another number, the planet number (Z). So your coordinate will look like this: (XX,YY:ZZ). To use the map, click on one of the sectors. You will get an overview of all systems in that sector.

The default map contains a push-pin for every C-Brat who has entered the required profile information above. The push-pins are color coded by C-Dory type; there's a unique color for 16's, 19's, 22's, 25's, Tomcats and "Other". There's also a unique color for Dealer and Factory Representatives, which are further distinguished by a "D" and "F" on the push-pins. Usage of the map is pretty self-explanatory, but there are a couple tricks that are not obvious.
