If you are connecting directly to one PC, under windows 98SE, 2000 or XP, either Parallel or USB is usually fine. However, the way XP handles USB devices may cause you to lose the device occasionally. This is because XP assigns virtual USB ports to multiple devices on the same USB bus. If the plotter is switched off or disconnected when the PC is booted up, it may be found later as a new device on a different virtual port, and the driver may need to be installed again.

Hi I have tried to upgrade my hard drive with a 200GB one, which i have done all is working fine but the problem is that it is only showing up as 120GB. i know that i will lose some space on the drive but not to that extent. My friend has his xbox hard drive increased to a 200GB drive (after install it shows he has 170GB which is what i would have expected).

With the current adapters you cant, the USB modem is the DSL equivalent of a WinModem and requires some processor power to perform the modem functions and convert the ATM data into TCP/IP for presentation to the PC. There is a Draytek device however which can effetively act as a router and presents ethernet to the user side. See details here.
