Q6.Do hamsters make noises ?

FAQ
Sometimes you will hear a single small squeak. We believe that the hamster is calling to another hamster in the hamstery, but a lone hamster is still know to make this noise. Also you may hear a 'terrible squealing when you put your hand in to handle a new hamster. This means that the hamster is afraid. It will not usually bite while it is making this noise. Pick up the hamster gently and cup it in your hands. It will gradually stop.

What noises do kangaroos make?

Frequently Asked Questions
If you've ever seen the TV show "Skippy" you may have heard Skippy going "tch tch tch". I have never heard a kangaroo make that sound. A male will cluck at a female to reassure her when he's trying to mate with her and kangaroos of either gender will growl preparatory to fighting. I've tried to get sound recordings of this, but so far without any luck, but note the movies of a common wallaroo and the Whiptail Wallabies mating I have on my movies page. See similar questions...

Will it make any strange noises or be visible as it comes in from space?

NASA - Frequently Asked Questions
Probably not, but it's possible a sonic boom may be heard somewhere along the descent path from Oregon to Utah. The capsule probably will not make any visible streaks in the sky as it descends through the atmosphere but it might. The capsule itself is less than five feet in diameter, probably too small to be seen, though its parachute will be visible to the retrieval helicopter pilots and possibly to nearby viewers at the test range. The 'Possum Pages: FAQs
Opossums are very quiet creatures. You are far more likely to see one long before hearing any noises from it. When threatened they often will hiss, much like a cat, and can make a low growling sound. Some have reported hearing opossums softly purring to their young, though I have never been so privileged. One person wrote me to say they'd once heard a young opossum mewing like a kitten, but it is the only such report I've received. See similar questions...

Do implants make noises like sloshing, squeaking, etc.?

Breast Implants FAQ
These noises are common during the first few days after surgery. Air in the pocket causes these types of noises, but they will dissipate anywhere from a few days to a few weeks post-op. Sloshing may also be the result of an under-filled implant. For example, if you have a Mentor 300cc implant, Mentor recommends that the implant be filled to at least 300cc, and no more than 325cc. If the implant is filled to, say, 275cc, you may get a sloshing effect. See similar questions...

Helen's Hamster Pages and Pictures at Dhassa - FAQs
Yes they can see something. I think that they can make out details for a couple of inches and beyond that they only seem to see big objects. One of my hamsters was able to follow my hand when I moved it several inches away from his ball. They can watch a human from across the room and will wait until the human is out of sight before running out of the room. But I have also seen hamsters sprint towards a wall or door and not see it in time to stop before hitting it. See similar questions...

Another is while they are sleeping, it is almost like they are snoring by making sounds of little popping bubbles. See similar questions...
